Hi, I’m Renae.
From as early as I can remember, I have always been creative. However, my artistic journey truly began to flourish more recently, inspired by my greatest muse, my gorgeous furbaby, Lucy.
She inspired me to pick up my pencils again after a long pause, reigniting my love for art and storytelling. Since then, I have continued to refine my pencil work while expanding my creative practice to include acrylic paints and markers on canvas, a medium I absolutely adore.
My work focuses on capturing the personality and emotion of pets and animals, while also embracing the quiet beauty found in everyday life.
Through storytelling and expressive realism, I aim to preserve fleeting moments and create artwork that resonates on an emotional level.
Ever since I was little, I’ve found myself inspired by the intelligence woven throughout the natural world - from the immense power of the ocean to the delicate intricacies of a flower. The closer I look, the more I find myself in awe of the mind behind these creations.
I believe we were designed by our Creator to be little creators ourselves. We were made to feel joy, wonder, and meaning in bringing something beautiful into existence, not unlike His own joy. For me, art has become one of the ways I feel most connected to Him. Through every piece I create, I hope to reflect even the smallest glimpse of the beauty and wonder first created by Him.
